Built to Last: The Details That Matter
The heart of the lamp is the carbon crystal filament. It works with a halogen cycle, which helps keep the heat output steady and gives the lamp a much longer life than your standard IR bulb. We coat the quartz tube, too. This isn’t just for looks. It shapes the heat spectrum and protects the filament from those nasty hot spots that lead to premature burnout. The result? A consistent temperature across the whole tube. And for the connection? We use an R7s connector. It’s a solid, two-contact design that can handle high current and the constant on-off cycling of industrial work. It’s a direct fit for common fixtures, so swapping out a lamp on the line is a quick and easy job.

These heaters are workhorses. They’re made for the tough spots—like PET blowing, thermoforming, and plastic welding. You need intense, focused heat right there, without turning the whole machine into a sauna. With the high wattage, the quick response, and that reliable R7s connection, you can get it wired up, dial in the focus, and get running. Just keep one thing in mind.
