Instead of hard-wiring the infrared tubes directly into the chassis, we switched to a plug-and-play module.&#xA;Now, if a tube fails five years down the road, you don&amp;rsquo;t have to tear the whole thing apart. You just pull the dead module out and drop a new one in.&#xA;The best part? You aren&amp;rsquo;t messing with the primary waterproof seal. You get to keep that protection intact while turning a four-hour ordeal into a ten-minute swap. It&amp;rsquo;s a relief.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The trade-offs (because there&amp;rsquo;s always a catch)&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Now, adding more connection points usually means adding more places for water to sneak in. To keep that IPX5 rating, we had to use heavy-duty compression seals and reinforced gaskets.&#xA;Because of that, the heaters are a bit bulkier. The housing takes up a little more room than a permanently sealed unit because the quick-release mechanism needs its own space.
